2. Remove bolts (2) and cover (1) from the side of the cab.
Before any lines are disconnected, release all the air from the system.
3. Disconnect air lines (4) and wires (5) from emergency brake control valve (3). 4. Remove pin (7) and knob (8) from emergency brake control valve.5. Remove nut (6) and emergency brake control valve (3) from the cab.Install Emergency Brake Control Valve
1. Put emergency brake control valve (1) in position in the cab as shown and install nut (2) that holds it.2. Install knob (4) on emergency brake control valve (1) and install pin (3) that holds the knob in place. 3. Connect hoses (5) and wires (6) to emergency brake control valve (1). 4. Install cover (7) on the side of the cab with bolts (8).5. Install the engine compartment hood.Disassemble Emergency Brake Control Valve
START BY:a) remove emergency brake control valve 1. Remove sending unit (1) from the fitting.2. Remove fittings (2) from the emergency brake control valve.3. Remove the screws, cover (3) and the ring from the emergency brake control valve. 4. Remove nut (5), the washer and diaphragm (4) from valve body (6). 5. Remove shaft (8) and spring (7) from valve body (6).6. Remove seal (9) from shaft (8).Assemble Emergency Brake Control Valve
1. Clean and inspect seal (1) for wear or damage and make a replacement if necessary.2. Install seal (1) on shaft (2).3. Install spring (4) and shaft (2) in valve body (3). 4. Install diaphragm (5), washer (6) and nut (7) on shaft (2). 5. Clean and inspect ring (8) for wear or damage and make a replacement if necessary.6. Put ring (8) and cover (9) in position on valve body (3) and install the screws that hold it. 7. Install fittings (10) on the emergency brake control valve.8.
