Install washer (34), spring (35), and pins (33) into barrel assembly (28).
Use a suitable press, Tooling (B), and a washer to install retaining ring (32) into barrel assembly (28).

Install bearing (31), plate (30), and pistons (29) onto barrel assembly (28).

Rotate Tooling (A) and install barrel assembly (28).

Install shim (27) that was determined in Step 16.

Apply Tooling (D) onto the back side of port plate (24). Install port plate (24) and O-ring seal (23) onto head (22).

Install head (22) and bolts (21). Tighten bolts (21) to a torque of 165 N m (122 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (14), O-ring seal (15), thrust ring (16), and housing (17) into valve (4).
Install O-ring seal (7), O-ring seal (8), thrust ring (9), and housing (10) into valve (4).
Install O-ring seal (6), (12), plug (5), and (11).
Install gasket (13).

Install valve (4) and bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 11 2 N m (94 17 lb in).

Remove the piston pump from Tooling (A) or suitable fixture.
