Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

Be sure that Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) are moved with the front loader frame.
Use the lift truck to carefully pull the front loader frame away from the rear loader frame.
Use wood blocks to stabilize the front loader frame after the separation of the main frames is complete. Place Tooling (B) under the rear loader frame.

Use Tooling (H) to remove upper sleeve bearing (18) from the upper portion of the rear loader frame, as shown.

Fasten a lifting strap and a hoist to Tooling (H). Use Tooling (H) to remove lower bearing sleeve (19) from the upper portion of the rear loader frame, as shown.

Mark the radial position of the upper cap and of the lower cap for installation purposes. Remove the six bolts, the six washers, upper cap (20) and lower cap (21) from the upper hitch assembly.

Remove shims (22) from the upper cap.

Remove lip seals (23) from caps (20) and (21) .

Use Tooling (J) to remove the bearing cups and the bearing cones from the upper hitch.

Remove spacer (24) from the lower hitch.

Mark the radial position of the upper cap and the lower cap for installation purposes. Remove the ten bolts, the ten washers, upper cap (25) and lower cap (26) from the lower hitch assembly.
Remove the shim pack from the upper cap (25) .

Remove lip seals (27) from caps (25) and (26) .

Use Tooling (K) to remove the bearing cup and bearing cones from the lower hitch.
