Remove bolts and air vent. Remove air filter element (1).
Visually inspect the air filter element before cleaning. Inspect the air filter element for damage to the seal, the pleats, and the outer cover. Replace a damaged air filter element with a new air filter element.
Use low pressure compressed air in order to remove the dust from the dirty air filter element. Air pressure must not exceed 207 kPa (30 psi). Direct the air flow up the pleats and down the pleats from the inside of the filter element. Take extreme care in order to avoid damage to the pleats.
Install the clean air filter element, install vent, and tighten bolts.
