Never move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position while the engine is operating. Serious damage to the electrical system could result.

The battery disconnect switch (1) is located on the lower right of machine.
Battery Disconnect Switch (1) - When the battery disconnect switch is in the OFF position, the 24V electrical system is disabled. When the battery disconnect switch is turned to the ON position, the battery remains connected to the entire 24V electrical system.
ON - In order to activate the 24V electrical system, turn the battery disconnect switch clockwise to the ON position. The battery disconnect switch must be turned to the ON position before starting the engine.
OFF - To deactivate the 24V electrical system, turn the battery disconnect switch counterclockwise to the OFF position.Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Place a padlock on the switch in order to secure the switch in the OFF position. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Place a padlock on the switch if the machine is not in operation for an extended period of a month or more. Placing a padlock on the switch will prevent the battery from being discharged. The following problems can cause battery discharge:
Short circuits
Current draw via some components
Illustration 2 g03459659Note: The battery disconnect switch does not release hydraulic pressure from the secondary steering system or hydraulic pressure. In order to release the hydraulic pressure, move the shift control lever to the N position, and then move the MASTER switch (2) to the OFF position. Doing this procedure will activate a solenoid valve in order to release the hydraulic pressure from the accumulators.
