1. Disconnect the wiring harness from the fuel shutoff solenoid.2. Using Tool (A), remove the fuel shutoff solenoid from the governor.3. Remove the O-ring seal from the fuel shutoff solenoid. The following steps are for the installation of the fuel shutoff solenoid.4. Check the condition of the O-ring seal used on the fuel shutoff solenoid. If the seal is damaged, use a new part for replacement. Install the O-ring seal on the fuel shutoff solenoid. When using Tool (A) with a torque wrench, the torque value must be recalculated to prevent over-torquing. Use the Snap On Torque Computer, Form No. SEHS7150.5. Install the fuel shutoff solenoid in the governor. Using Tool (A) and a suitable torque wrench, tighten the fuel shutoff solenoid to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).6. Connect the wiring harness to the fuel shutoff solenoid.
