Removal Procedure

Remove bolts (2) from engine oil relief valve (1).
Remove engine oil relief valve (1) from the cylinder block.
Remove O-ring seal (3) from engine oil relief valve (1). Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Check the engine oil relief valve for wear and damage. If necessary, replace the engine oil relief valve as an assembly.

Install a new O-ring seal (3) to engine oil relief valve (1).
Install engine oil relief valve (1) to the cylinder block.
Install bolts (2) to engine oil relief valve (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in)
