Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

Loosen two clamps (2) which hold engine hood (1) in place.
Raise engine hood (1) .

Disconnect electrical connectors (3) from the headlights.
Disconnect electrical connector (4) from the horn.
Disconnect electrical connector (5) .

Remove bolt (7) and disconnect chain (6) from the engine hood.
Lower the engine hood.

Remove two bolts (8) from both ends of the engine hood.
Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings to the engine hood.
Remove the engine hood from the machine. The weight of the engine hood is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).Installation Procedure
Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings to the engine hood. The weight of the engine hood is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).
Install the engine hood to the machine.

Install two bolts (8) to both ends of the engine hood.

Raise the engine hood.
Connect chain (6) and install bolt (7) on the engine hood.

Connect electrical connector (5) .
Connect electrical connector (4) to the horn.
Connect electrical connectors (3) to the headlights.

Lower engine hood (1) .
Tighten two clamps (2) which hold engine hood (1) in place.End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
