Use two people to remove exciter stator (11). Refer to Table 3 for the approximate weight of exciter stator (11).

Guide Tooling (C) through the bolt holes of bracket assembly (8). Position bracket assembly (8) and install bolts (10) .
Remove Tooling (B) .

Remove Tooling (A) from between main rotor (7) and stator (9) surfaces.

Remove one Tooling (C) and install one bolt (6). Remove other Tooling (C) and install other bolt (6) .
Install outer bearing cover (5) .

Install air inlet screen (4) .

Install terminal panel (2) and lifting eye (3) .
Install panel (1) .
Connect the DC battery supply.
Close the AC breaker.End By: Install optional permanent magnet pilot exciter (PMG) attachment if equipped.
