Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Clean the mating surface of the water pump and the cylinder block.
Inspect the condition of the O-ring seal. Replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.
Install the O-ring seal on the water pump.

Position water pump (9) on the engine. Install four bolts (11) .
Install oil tube (10) .

Position pulley (7) on water pump (9) .
Install bolts (8) and the washers that fasten pulley (7) to water pump (9) .

Tighten hose clamp (6) .

Install hose (4) and tighten hose clamp (5) .
Install hose (2) and tighten hose clamp (3) .

Install oil filter (1) .
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the correct level.End By: Install the belt tensioner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt Tensioner - Remove and Install".
