Create the templates. Refer to Illustration 1, Illustration 2, and Illustration 3 for the dimensions for the templates.

Remove screws (6) from the bottom covers.

Note: This step is only for D3K, D4K, D5K, and D6K.
For the left hand bottom cover, align template (1A) along side (W) and side (X). Drill three 7.75 .25 mm (0.305 0.010 inch) holes. Attach one cushion (5A) to the bottom cover with three nuts (4A). Proceed to Step 5.

Note: This step is only for 953D and 963D.
For the left hand bottom cover, align template (3A) along side (W) and side (X). Drill three 7.75 .25 mm (0.305 0.010 inch) holes. Attach one cushion (5A) to the bottom cover with three nuts (4A). Proceed to Step 5.

For the right hand bottom cover, use template (2A) and repeat Step 3 for all machines.
Reassemble the bottom covers with screws (6). Torque screws (6) to 6 N m (53 lb in).
