Which Generate This Code:The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects a pressure differential across the secondary fuel filter. If the fuel flow has been restricted, the ECM will generate this code. This code will become active when all of the following conditions are met:
The temperature of the fuel is less than 70 °C (158 °F).
The engine has been running for 30 minutes.
The secondary fuel filter has been restricted for at least 60 minutes.Note: This code will be reset when the keyswitch is turned to the OFF position.System Response:The event code will be logged and a warning will appear on the display on the control panel.E688-2 The engine will be derated.Test Step 1.
