Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock.

Open platform doors (1) in order to access the input drive shaft.

Remove guards (2) .

Attach suitable lifting devices to input drive shaft (4). The weight of input drive shaft (4) is approximately 54 kg (120 lb).
Remove bolts (3) that secure input drive shaft (4) to the torque converter yoke.
Remove bolts (5) that secure input drive shaft (4) to the transfer gearbox drive yoke.
Slide the transfer gearbox drive yoke toward the transmission in order to gain enough clearance for the removal of input drive shaft (4) .
Use the suitable lifting devices in order to carefully remove input drive shaft (4) from the machine.Installation Procedure
Install input drive shaft (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (3) and (5) to a torque of 300 41 N m (220 30 lb ft).
