Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (3) to the NEUTRAL position.
Rotate speed dial (2) to the MINIMUM position.
Move parking brake switch (1) to the ON position.

Move screed lift switch (4) to the FLOAT position. Lower the screed to the ground.Note: The screed lift switch on the inactive instrument panel must also be in the FLOAT position in order to lower the screed.

Move throttle control switch (5) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
Move engine start switch (6) to the OFF position after the engine reaches low idle.
Install Tool (F) and Tool (H) on Tool (D). Use the proper O-ring seals (Tool (E) and Tool (G) ) when Tool (F) and Tool (H) are installed.

Remove the vibratory pressure hose from bulkhead connector (8). This connector is located at the rear of the tractor. Connect Tool (D) to the bulkhead connector.
Install Tool (C) on Tool (F). Use Tool (B) in order to connect Tool (C) to Tool (A) .Note: The switch for the screed lift must be reset to the HOLD position before the machine will start.
Move engine start switch (6) to the START position. Release the engine start switch after the engine starts.
Move throttle control switch (5) to the HIGH IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2200 rpm.

Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature on the operator display. Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43° 5.6°C (110° 10°F).

Move vibrator switch (8) on the left instrument panel to the ON position.

Rotate vibrator speed dial (9) on the right screed control panel to the midrange position.
Make sure that parking brake switch (1) is in the ON position.

Move propulsion mode switch (10) to the PAVE position.
Rotate speed dial (2) to the MIDRANGE position.
Move propulsion lever (3) to the FULL FORWARD position.
Read the pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 13800 350 kPa (2000 50 psi).Note: A delay of approximately 0.5 seconds will occur before the vibrator will start and before the pressure will register on Tool (A) .
Move vibrator switch (8) to the OFF position.
Rotate speed dial (2) into the MINIMUM position.
Move propulsion lever (3) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move throttle control switch (5) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
Move engine start switch (6) to the OFF position after the engine reaches low idle.
If the pressure is within the specified range, go to Step 27. If the pressure is not within the specified range, adjust the pressure. Refer to Specifications, Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, "Pump Control Valve (Auxiliary) - Test and Adjust".Note: If no
