(1) Hydraulic Manifold. (2) Outlet. (3) Inlet.The compensator valve for the generator is located inside the hydraulic manifold (1). The compensator valve (9) maintains constant generator speed even when there is some fluctuation in engine speed. Hydraulic manifold (1) is at the inlet to the hydraulic motor. The hydraulic manifold controls the operation of the generator by controlling hydraulic flow.

The two-way valve (8) directs the oil to the hydraulic motor or to the hydraulic tank. When the generator is not active, the two-way valve directs oil to the tank. Hydraulic oil travels from the hydraulic manifold to the tank through hose (2). When the two-way valve (8) is energized the oil is directed to the compensated flow control valve (9). The adjustable flow control (12) controls the amount of oil that goes to the hydraulic motor. The adjustable flow control valve (12) and the compensator (9) controls the speed of the hydraulic motor. The adjustable flow control valve (12) and the compensator (9) also keeps the speed at a RPM that is constant. Components of the Manifold

(5) "G2" - This is the test port that is used to check the pressure that returns to the tank. The pressure that returns to the tank is the back pressure. (8) "SV02" - This solenoid valve is the valve that turns the generator ON and OFF. The solenoid is wired to the grapple/magnet switch in the cab. The grapple/magnet switch sends power to the solenoid valve when the switch is in the magnet position. (9) "FCS01" - This is the compensator that is built into the manifold. This valve needs no adjustment. (10) "RV01" - This is the relief valve that sets the system at rated load pressure. In order to adjust the valve, turn the stem clockwise until the stem bottoms out. Turn the stem of the valve in the counterclockwise direction for a quarter of a turn. (11) "LS" - This is a gauge port that is used to check the differential pressure. The pressure
