Description of Change: A new varistor is now available for certain engines and generator sets that are listed above.Additional Application Recommendation - Configure the application switch gear so that paralleling occurs at lagging power factor and configure protective relaying to prevent generator operation outside of generator capability curve. Configure application switch-gear to parallel within synchronization limits +/-0.1 Hz, +/-5% phase volts, +/-10 degrees phase angle. Configure application controls and protective relaying circuitry to not allow generator to bus breaker closure while generator is not operating.Adaptable To: The new 241-4662 Varistor is a direct replacement for the former 241-4620 Varistor .Refer to Table 1 for the required parts.
