SHAFT (30 teeth) 4V5769 - Caterpillar

1. Remove doors (1) from the enclosure.2. Drain the coolant from the radiator.3. Remove bolts (3) and screen (2). 4. Remove all bolts (4) and guard assemblies (5). 5. Remove bolts (7) and bolts (8). Remove panel assembly (6). 6. Remove two bolts (10) and brace (9).7. Remove bolts (11). 8. Remove cover assembly (12).9. Remove bolts (14) and brace (13).10. Remove two bolt (16) from two covers (15). 11. Remove two bolts (17) from the bottom of each cover (15) and remove both covers (15). 12. Fasten a hoist as shown.13. Loosen the clamps and slide hose (17) onto the tube assembly.14. Loosen the clamps and slide hose (19) onto the tube assembly.15. Remove bolt (20). Loosen clamp (21) and remove the guard assembly and tube assembly (18). 16. Loosen the clamp and disconnect hose (22) from the radiator. 17. Remove bolts (24) and remove radiator assembly (23). The weight of the radiator assembly is 123 kg (270 lb.). 18. Remove bolts (26). Remove bolts (27) from each side of the radiator assembly. Remove guard (25). 19. Remove bolts (29). With two persons remove aftercooler (28). The weight of the aftercooler is 34 kg (75 lb.). 20. Remove bolts (31) and brace (30). 21. Fasten a hoist. Remove bolts (32) and bracket (33) from the radiator. The weight of the radiator is 82 kg (180 lb.).
