If the Generator Set Power Module is to be operated at a single site, it is recommended that it be installed on a concrete pad. The generator set is designed to be operated in a horizontal position. Since the bottom of the Generator Set Power Module container is not flat, four depressions should be fabricated in the concrete pad so that the four container feet are seated in the depressions and the container rails rest on the pad. When the rails rest on the concrete, the container will not sag and alignment will be maintained between the engine and generator.The depressions in the concrete pad should be 381 × 381 × 25 mm (15.0 × 15.0 × 1.0 in) deep. The diagram shows the depression locations on the concrete pad for 6, 10, and 12 m (20, 30, and 40 ft) containers.
