Section Information
The machine is equipped with a hydraulically operated cooling fan. The fan is variable speed. The engine ECM automatically controls the operation of the cooling fan.

(3) ATAAC air temperature sensor
(4) Fan solenoid
(5) Hydraulic oil temperature sensor
(6) Machine ECMEngine ECM (1) uses input signals from the following devices to control fan solenoid (4):
Engine coolant temperature sensor (2)
ATAAC air temperature sensor (3)
Hydraulic oil temperature sensor (5)Machine ECM (6) monitors the output signals from hydraulic oil temperature sensor (5). The machine ECM transmits this information to engine ECM (1) through controller area network lines.Fan solenoid (4) controls the speed of the cooling fan.
