1. Remove crankcase breather (5).2. Remove oil filler tube assembly (1).3. Remove bolts (2) that hold valve cover (3) to valve cover base (4).
Typical Example4. Move valve cover (3) to the rear of the engine compartment as shown. Remove the valve cover from the machine.5. Remove the gasket from the valve cover. The following steps are for installation of the valve cover.6. Put the gasket in position on valve cover (3).7. Put valve cover (3) in position on valve cover base (4). 8. Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) in the number sequence shown to a torque of 14 3 N m (10 2 lb.ft.).9. Install crankcase breather (5).10. Install oil filler tube assembly (1).End By:11. Install the air cleaner housing.
