Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Fasten a hoist to Tool (A) and position water pump (10). Install gasket (17) on each side of the water pump.

Install bolts (7) and (8) that fasten the flange and tubes to water pump (10). Install bolts (9).

Remove Tool (A) from electric motor (6). Install two eyebolts.

Install wires (2), (3), (4), and (5).

Install cover (1) on the electric motor. Installing the Electric Motor on the Water Pump

Put electric motor (6) on the water pump and install bolts (16). Remove Tool (A) from electric motor (6). Install two eyebolts.

Put shim (13) in position on the water pump shaft. Install coupling (14) with bolts (15). Remove shim (13).

Install cover (11) with two screws (11).
Install shim (13).
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

Put electric motor (6) on the water pump and install bolts (16). Remove Tool (A) from electric motor (6). Install two eyebolts.
