1. Remove four truss head screws (1) and the washers from panel (2). Lower panel (2). 2. Disconnect wiring harness (3) to the defrosting fan at the electrical connector. 3. Remove four truss head screws (4) and the washers that hold defrosting fan (5) to panel (6). Remove defrosting fan (5) from panel (6). The following steps are for the installation of the defrosting fan. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-6396 O-ring Compound to all O-ring seals prior to installation, if applicable.4. Put defrost fan (5) in position to panel (6). Install four truss head screws (4) that hold defrost fan (5) to panel (6).5. Connect wiring harness (3) to defrost fan (5) at the electrical connector.6. Raise panel (2). Install four truss head screws (1) and the washers to panel (2).
