1. Park the tractor/scraper on a level surface, and apply the parking brakes. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "OFF" position.
(4) 4D6267 Block. (5) 8D3508 Boss.2. Weld a 4D6267 Block and an 8D3508 Boss on the underneath side of the scrapper push frame top plate. Weld a 3 mm (0.12") fillet weld around the base of the block and boss.
(1) 7X1670 Control Group. (2) 8X3136 Harness Assembly. (3) 7X6220 Lamp. (6) 8T4896 Washer. (7) 5M3062 Bolt. (8) 9G9152 Clip. (9) 8M2772 Clip. (10) 4D7794 Clip.3. Disconnect the rear light harness from the rear lights and scraper harness.Loosen all clips holding the rear light harness in place. Remove three 5K9107 Bolts, three 5M2894 Washers, and three 4D7794 Clips holding the harness across the frame. Remove and discard the rear light harness.4. Connect the 8X3136 Rear Light Harness to the scraper harness. Install a 5M3062 Bolt, 8T4896 Washer, and 8M2772 Clip at the two locations shown in the illustration. Install a 5M3062 Bolt, 8T4896 Washer, and 4D7794 Clip at one location as shown in the illustration.Connect the 640 Green wire to the top terminal of the right stop/tail light assembly.Connect the 639 White wire to the top terminal of the left stop/tail light assembly.5. Install the 7X1670 Control to the block using two 5M3062 Bolts, and two 8T4896 Washers.Connect the control to the rear light harness and secure it to the boss with a 5M3062 Bolt, 8T4896 Washer, 8M2772 Clip, and 9G9152 Clip to hold the connectors in place.6. Perform the following procedure to each stop/tail lamp body, or replace each with 6N7988 Body Assembly and skip the next two steps.* Remove the 6N7982 Lamp from the 6N7983 Body Assembly and disconnect the wires at the lamp. Discard the 6N7982 Lamp.* Cut the wire attached to the bottom terminal flush with the body.* Connect the wire attached to the top terminal and the wire attached to the ground lug in the body to the new 7X6220 Lamp.* Install the 7X6220 Lamp into the body assembly.7. Test the stop/tail lights for proper operation.621E (6AB1-1254, 2PD1-736)

(4) 4D6267 Block. Locate block from boss (A).2. Weld a 4D6267 Block to the underneath side of the scrapper push frame top plate. Weld a 3 mm (0.12") fillet weld around the base of the block.3. Disconnect the rear light harness from the rear lights and scraper harness. Loosen all clips holding the rear light harness in place. Remove three 5K9107 Bolts, three 5M2894 Washers, and three 4D7794 Clips holding the harness across the frame. Remove and discard the rear light harness.4. Install the 8X2982 Rear Light Harness through the loosened clips and connect to the scraper harness. Secure the harness with two 5M3062 Bolts, two 8T4896 Washers, and two 8M2772 Clips at the two locations as shown in the illustration.
