Information:
1. Remove four bolts (2) and cover (1). 2. Remove three bolts (3) and cover (4). 3. Disconnect five wire connectors (5).4. Remove retaining clip (6) and pin (7) on each side of cab. Pin removal may require alignment. 5. Turn lever (9) on pump to "UP" position.6. Using handle (8), found in the cab, raise cab until support pin (10) can be inserted.7. Insert support pin (10) and lower cab onto support by turning lever (9) to "DOWN" position. Use the following steps to lower the cab.8. Turn lever (9) to "UP" position and raise weight of cab off pin (10) using handle (8).9. Remove pin (10) and lower cab by slowly turning handle (9) to "DOWN" position.10. Install two pins (7) and retaining clips (6).11. Connect five wire connectors (5).12. Install cover (4) with three bolts (3).13. Install cover (2) with four bolts (1).Remove & Install Cab
Start By:a. raise cab1. Raise the engine hood forward.2. Bleed freon from air conditioning compressor with reclaimer. 3. Identify and disconnect the hydraulic lines (1) from the hand metering pump. Cap or plug immediately. Disconnect hose (2) that goes to the brake valve.
Always wear goggles when working on air conditioning systems. The system is under pressure at all times, engine running or not. Escaping Freon-12 (C C12F2 Dichloro Difluoro Methane) can cause freezing of human flesh.DO NOT SMOKE WHILE WORKING ON AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. Inhaling Freon-12 through any smoking material, although not toxic or flammable, can generate phosgene gas and cause violent illness. ALSO, HEAT MUST NEVER BE APPLIED TO A CHARGED SYSTEM. See Air Conditioning & Heating Service Manual, Form No. SENR3334, for more information on removal and installation of lines and refrigerant from the system.
Use a freon reclaimer before loosening any lines.4. Loosen U-bolt clamp (3). Disconnect governor control linkage (4) at the governor and remove linkage.5. Disconnect air conditioning hose (5) at the drier. Disconnect two air conditioning hoses (6) at the compressor. 6. Disconnect two heater hoses (7). Disconnect air conditioning line (8). Remove two tyraps (9). 7. Remove bolts (10) and cover (11). 8. Disconnect transmission linkage (12). Remove nut (13) and transmission linkage (12). Disconnect ground strap (14).
To prevent personal injury, make sure the cab support post is installed before doing any work under the cab.
9. Disconnect three hose assembly (15). Disconnect brake line (16).10. Remove the pin located at the top of the cab lift cylinder (17).11. Fasten tooling (A), chains and a hoist to the top of the cab. Remove cab support post. Lower the cab at this time with the chains and a hoist. Make a final visual check to be sure that all removals and disconnections have been made from the cab. 12. Remove bolt (18). 13. Drive out pin (19).Repeat steps 12 and 13 for the pin on the other side of the cab. 14. Raise cab (20). Weight of the cab is 954 kg (2100 lb). Observe for any possible connections when removing cab from tractor. Check all
