Component Code (4129)SUBJECT: D6N DIFFERENTIAL STEERING VIBRATION AND NOISE
PROBLEM: High noise levels in the cab when the machine is steered to the left or the right. No noise present when going in a straight line.
SOLUTION: The steel tubes have been replaced by new hoses in the 218-4304 lines group.

1. Remove the seat.
2. Remove the console cover and access plate from the left hand console.
3. Remove the 199-5973 brackets from the cab floor.
4. Remove the cab floor.
5. Remove four tubes (8).
6. Replace the 45° elbow (9) with the 8T-6876 elbow 90° (5) and 3J-1907 seal (6). Add a 6V-8398 seal (7).
7. Install four 6V-8936 reducers (1) on fittings (10) with 6V-8397 seals (2).
8. Connect four new hoses 191-1768 (3) on the four 6V-8936 reducers (1). The new hoses route the same as the former steel tubes.
9. Install four 6V-8936 reducers (1) on fittings (10) with 6V-8397 O-ring seals(2).
10. Connect the other ends of the 191-1768 hoses (3) on the four 6V-8936 reducers (1). The new hoses route the same as the former steel tubes.
11. Use 7K-1181 straps (4) to bundle the four 191-1768 hoses (3) together.
12. Test the machine for leaks.
13. Install the 199-5973 brackets on the cab floor.
14. Install the cab floor.
15. Install the access plate and console cover on the left hand console.
16. Install the seat.
