These new groups can be used in right or left hand mountings with standard or opposite-standard engine rotation. The starting motors have a stronger pinion shaft and increased torque capacity.Adaptable To: The new 8N8418 and 8N8474 Motor Groups are in effect and adaptable to the engines with the serial numbers shown in the chart. These new motor groups are not direct replacements for the former motor groups, which are still available. Because of the large number of parts needed for installation and the different types of installations that are available, the parts needed for the earlier engines are not shown in this article.
