Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from any machines that are working and any personnel.
Move the transmission control to the NEUTRAL position.
Activate the parking brakes. Stop the engine.
Permit only one operator on the machine. Either keep other personnel away from the machine, or keep other personnel in the sight of the operator.
Place wheel chocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Make sure that the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.
Make sure that all air pressure and oil pressure is released before any fittings, hoses, or components are worked on.
Push the brake pedal many times until there is no brake pressure.Test Procedure

(1) Cover
Remove cover (1) from the top of the platform group.

Disconnect hose assembly (2) and remove adapter assembly (3) from the top of the pump group.

Install tooling (B) onto hose assembly (2).Install tooling (F) onto the open port of the pump group.
Connect tooling (A) to tooling (F).
Start the system and raise the steps to check the pressure. The pressure should be 13790 345 kPa (2000 50 psi).Note: If the pressure is not 13790 345 kPa (2000 50 psi), refer to "Adjustment Procedure" to adjust the pressure.
Remove all tooling and reconnect the hose assembly, the adapter assembly, and the cover on the top of the platform group.Adjustment Procedure

(1) Adjustment screw
Remove the hex cover from adjustment screw (1) on the side of the pump group.
Raise the steps to activate the system pressure.
While the steps are being raised, turn adjustment screw (1) to adjust the pressure.Note: Pressure should be set to 13790 345 kPa (2000 50 psi).
Reinstall the hex cover onto adjustment screw (1).
Remove all tooling and reconnect the hose assembly, the adapter assembly, and the cover on the top of the platform group.
