Clean Filters
Clean filters more often in dusty conditions. 1. Remove the filter covers located behind the operator's seat. 2. Remove the filter elements. Clean the filter elements with pressure air or wash the elements in warm water and a nonsudsing household detergent.3. Rinse in clean water and air dry thoroughly.4. Install the filter elements. Install the filter covers.Tires
Check Inflation Pressure
Measure the tire pressure on each tire. Consult your Caterpillar dealer for correct load rating and operating pressures.Inflate the tires, if necessary. See the Tire Inflation Information section of this manual.Lift Arm and Cylinder Linkage
Lubricate Fittings
Wipe all fittings before lubricating. Lubricate three fittings on the left side of the machine. Lubricate three fittings on the right side of the machine.Attachment Pivot Bearings
Lubricate fittings
Lubricate one fitting on each side of the machine.
