A new hose and clamps are now available for the Clean Gas Induction (CGI) Cooler. The new hose and clamps reduce the chance of coolant leaks.

(1) 280-8911 Band Clamps (2) 327-0363 Hose If a coolant leak is found with the hose for the CGI cooler, replace the old hose 5P-1253 Hose with 327-0363 Hose (1) and secure the hose with two new 280-8911 Band Clamps (2). The new hose and clamps are available for (S/N: SDP1-17026).

New CGI CoolerC15 Engines with the serial number (S/N: SDP17027-UP) have a new designed CGI cooler. The new cooler has a straight tube at the bottom of the cooler. The straight tube is circled in Illustration 2. The old cooler has an elbow at the bottom of the cooler. The elbow is circled in Illustration 1. The new cooler uses a separate silicone elbow to connect the cooler to the hose. Refer to Illustration 2.
