start by: a) remove track carrier roller (right side) 1. Remove four bolts (2), two plates (1) and the two pads from the support assembly that holds the equalizer bar in position. 2. Put tooling (A) in front of the tracks. Start the machine. Move the machine forward up on tooling (A). 3. Put tooling (B) in position under the main frame of the machine as shown. Remove tooling (A) from under the tracks.
Put wood blocks behind the tracks at the rear of the machine. Put the brakes in an engaged position. This will prevent the machine from moving backward when lifting the front of the machine with tooling (B).
4. Lift the front of the machine with tooling (B) until the support assembly of the main frame is above the equalizer bar.5. Put a floor jack in position under the equalizer bar. Lift the floor jack until it makes contact with the equalizer bar. 6. Remove the four bolts (3) and washers that hold the support assembly in position. Lift the equalizer bar with the floor jack and slide the support assembly (4) off the end of the equalizer bar. 7. Turn the equalizer bar (5) to the side until it is free from the support assembly on the other side of the machine. Remove the equalizer bar from the rear of the machine. Weight of the equalizer bar is 200 lb. (90.7 kg).Install Equalizer Bar
1. Put the equalizer bar (1) on the floor jack.2. Put the equalizer bar in position under the support assembly of the main frame. Lift the equalizer bar with the floor jack. Put one end of the equalizer bar in the support assembly on the track roller frame. 3. Slide the support assembly (2) over the end of the equalizer bar. Lower the floor jack until the support assembly makes contact with the track roller frame. Install the four bolts and washers that hold the support assembly in position.4. Lower the front of the machine with tooling (B) until the support assembly of the main frame makes contact with the equalizer bar. Make sure the equalizer bar is in the center of the support assembly. 5. Install the two pads (3) on each side of the equalizer bar. 6. Install the two plates (4) on each side of the equalizer bar. 7. Install the four bolts (5) and washers that hold the plates and pads in position. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 200 25 lb.ft. (27.7 3.5 mkg).8. Put tool (A) in front of the tracks. Release the brakes. Start the machine and move it forward up on tool (A).
