Machine must be on a solid, level surface. 1. Put blocks (1) in front and behind all four wheels.2. Move the floor to the "CLOSED" position and stop the engine. Move the implement controls to all positions to release the pressure in the circuits. Slowly loosen the cap on the hydraulic tank to release any pressure inside the tank. 3. Install tooling (A) under the draft frame. 4. Put tooling (B) under the front of the tractor. 5. Remove from each side of the hitch the bolts, yokes (3) and pins (2) that fasten the link assemblies and the rod end of the steering cylinders in position.
Do not disconnect any air or hydraulic lines until the systems pressure is zero. Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
6. Put identification on all hydraulic and air line hoses for assembly purposes. 7. Disconnect hydraulic hoses (4), (7) and air lines (6) from the top of the draft frame. Disconnect wiring harness and brackets. Remove plate and bracket (5). 8. Put blocks (8) under each side of the hitch so it can not fall to either side. 9. Remove bolts (11), lock (10) and yokes (9) from both the upper and lower hitch pins. 10. Remove upper hitch pin (12) with a suitable hydraulic jack (13). 11. Remove lower hitch pin (14) with a pry bar as shown. Remove spacer (15). 12. Apply 80 psi (552 kPa) of shop air or put identification on nut location and loosen nuts on rod and move lever (16) to the left to release parking brake. 13. Install tooling (C) and chains on the front frame and make a separation of the tractor and scraper. 14. Lift the rear frame with tooling (A) for clearance of the transmission controls (17). 15. Remove three washers (18) from the hitch group.Connection Of Tractor To Scraper
1. Install washers in the hitch group. The first or bottom washer (2) is installed with the groove down. The second washer (1) is bronze and the last washer (3) has not grooves. 2. Put tractor in alignment with scraper using the fork lift truck. Install tooling (B). 3. With the draft frame lifted for clearance of the transmission control valve (5), push tractor and lower the draft frame (4) with tooling (A) for alignment of the draft frame and the hitch group. 4. Install upper hitch pin (6). 5. Put washer (8) in position and install lower pin (7). 6. Install six hydraulic lines (9). 7. Connect hydraulic hoses (10) and air lines on top of the draft frame. Install brackets (12) and plates (11) in position. 8. Put link assemblies (14) and (15) and the rod end of the steering cylinders (16) in position and install pins (13) on each side of draft frame. 9. Put rod (17) from parking brake chamber in its original position or disconnect air supply to activate the parking brake. 10. Remove blocks (18) from the hitch group. 11. Remove tooling (A) and
