List of Diagnostics for the Automatic Lubrication System Components
Note: Active diagnostics and logged diagnostics can be viewed through ET for all machines. All the machines use the same codes for the module identifier (MID), the component identifier (CID), and the failure mode identifier (FMI). Active diagnostics and logged diagnostics can be viewed through the Caterpillar Monitoring System on the 988H and 990H machines, and with an interface of the VIMS on the 992G, 992K, and 993K.Autolube Pressure Sensor
The autolube pressure sensor is an input to the power train ECM. The sensor monitors the pressure of the grease in the automatic lubrication system. The possible electrical faults for the pressure sensor are listed in Table 5.

The pump pressure sensor is an input to the power train ECM. The pump pressure sensor is used with the pressure sensor that is located on the loader frame to calculate the downstream pressure. Also, the pump pressure sensor will control the maximum pressure at the pump. The possible electrical faults for the pressure sensor are listed in Table 6.
