1. Put the machine on level ground and lower the bowl to the ground.
Tractor2. For the removal of the tractor tires and rims, put two 445 kN (50 ton) screw jacks (1) in position under the rear frame of the tractor and lift it until the tires are off the ground. 3. For the removal of the scraper tires and rims lift the rear of the scraper until the tires are off the ground and install tooling (A) as shown.
Scraper4. Remove all nuts (2) except for two and loosen them. Make sure the two nuts are on opposite sides. 5. Put a lift truck in position under tire (3) as shown.6. Fasten a strap around tire (3) and remove the two remaining bolts. Remove the tire and rim from the wheel assembly. The weight of the tire and rim is 675 kg (1500 lb.).Install Tires And Rims
1. Put tire and rim (1) into position on the wheel assembly and install the two nuts to hold the tire and rim in position when the lift truck is removed. 2. Install the remainder of nuts (2) and tighten them to a torque of 140 20 N m (105 15 lb.ft.). Tighten the nuts again to a final torque of 500 35 N m (370 25 lb.ft.).3. Lower the tractor and remove the screw jacks or lift the scraper and remove tooling (A).
