Remove two springs and pads (50). Remove valve plate (51). Remove bolts (53) and cover (52) from the pump housing.

Remove O-ring seal (57) from cover (52).
Remove nuts (54). Remove two guide posts (56) and leveler (55) from cover (52) .

Remove barrel assembly (61) from the pistons.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Position barrel assembly (61) in a press. Install a suitable piece of steel stock against washer (62). Put slight compression on washer (62) with the press. Carefully remove retaining ring (63) and slowly release spring compression.Note: Put location marks on washer (62) and on washer (65) for installation purposes.
Remove washer (62), spring (64) and washer (65) from the barrel assembly.

Remove swashplate (66) and the pistons from the pump housing.

Remove bolts (70). Remove two bearing guides (68), the four spacers, slipper guide (69), and nine pistons (67) from swashplate (66) .
Remove slider block (71) from the swashplate.

Remove bearing races (73) from the dowel pins in the pump housing.

Remove bolts (76) and servo cylinder (77) from both sides of pump housing (74). Remove servo piston (75) from one of the servo cylinders.
If necessary, remove two dowel pins (78) from pump housing (74) .

Remove O-ring seals (79) from each servo cylinder (77) .
