2. Remove the oil filter case (2) and element.3. Remove the oil outlet line (4) for the filter.4. Loosen bolt (3) that holds clamp to block.5. Disconnect the line (1) from the bottom of cylinder block. Pull the oil line (1) out of the base of filter. 6. Remove the four bolts that hold the base of oil filter to the oil cooler for the engine. Remove the base of oil filter (5).Install Oil Filter Base
1. Put the base of oil filter into position on the oil cooler of engine. 2. Install the four bolts (1). 3. Put the oil inlet line into position in base of oil filter. Connect the inlet line to the cylinder block. Tighten the clamp bolt.4. Install the outlet line for the oil filter.5. Install the element and case for oil filter.6. Install the side cover for the engine.Disassemble Oil Filter Base
start by: a) remove oil filter base 1. Remove the retaining bolts (1), cover (2), spring (3), and plunger (4) for the bypass valve of the oil cooler.2. Remove the bolts (5), cover (6), spring (7), and plunger (8) for the bypass valve of the oil filter. 3. Remove the retaining ring (9) from screw (10) using pliers (A).4. Remove screw (10), washer (11), and seal (12).Assemble Oil Filter Base
1. Install the washer (1) and seal (2) on the screw (3).2. Put screw (3) in position in base of oil filter.3. Install retaining ring (4) on screw (3) using pliers (A).4. Install the plunger, spring, cover and retaining bolts for the bypass valve of the oil filter. 5. Install the plunger, spring, cover, and retaining bolts for the bypass valve of the oil cooler.end by: a) install oil filter base
