Secondary ECM Monitoring
Table 5 contains a list of codes that can be generated by the secondary ECM. The secondary ECM provides backup control for the engine. If a problem is detected with the primary ECM, the secondary ECM will provide control for the critical engine components. The table contains the default settings for the applicable codes for your engine. Use Cat ET to view the minimum and maximum ranges for the parameters.

Separate timers are used in the ECM for each response that is associated with a parameter. If a trip point is reached, the timer for that event is started.
