Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Place Tooling (C) in front of the rear tires and behind the rear tires.
Raise the front of the machine until the front tires are just off the floor.

Typical Example
Install Tooling (A) under the front frame on both sides of the machine, as shown.

Note: Tooling (B) turns in approximately 60 degree increments.
Use Tooling (B) and a suitable socket in order to loosen bolts (1). Do not remove bolts (1) at this time.

Typical Example
Attach a suitable lifting device to tire and rim assembly (2). Remove bolts (1). Remove tire and rim assembly (2). The weight of tire and rim assembly (2) is approximately 612 kg (1350 lb).
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for the other front tire and rim assembly (2) .Installation Procedure
Thoroughly clean the contacting surfaces of the rim assembly and of the front axle housing.

Typical Example
Attach a suitable lifting device to tire and rim assembly (2). Position tire and rim assembly (2) on the front axle housing. The weight of front tire and rim assembly (2) is approximately 612 kg (1350 lb).
Install bolts (1). The initial torque for bolts (1) is 570 80 N m (420 60 lb ft). Then turn bolts (1) by an additional 60 5 degrees.
Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the installation of the other tire and rim assembly.End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
