Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Drain the coolant from the auxiliary system. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual.

Remove bolts and remove tube assembly (1).

Remove one oil filter (2) with Tooling (B).

Disconnect hose assembly (3).

Remove bolts (5) and remove housing (6).

Loosen nut (7).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the auxiliary water pump.

Remove bolts (8) and remove auxiliary water pump (9) with Tooling (A). The weight of the auxiliary water pump is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).
