A new software upgrade is now available for EMCP 3.1, EMCP 3.2, and EMCP 3.3. The new EMCP software has been upgraded to version 2. Refer to Table 1, Table 2, and Table 3. The new software upgrade provides the following enhancements:
Improves the overfrequency detection feature for applications with high harmonics load
Provides an update to the AC frequency algorithm
Improves the controls immunity to the harmonics distortion of the AC waveformUpgrading software for your EMCP 3.1, EMCP 3.2, and EMCP 3.3 to the latest release of software is not considered a warrantable repair.
