Introduction
Certain Medium Wheel Loaders may have loose left-hand Cab Doors as a result of premature wear of the Cab Door Hinge Bushings. Left-hand Cab Door Hinges can be reworked to reduce or eliminate the looseness of door. Do not perform any procedure that is outlined in this publication until you understand the information that is contained in this document.Parts

Note: Perform rework on TOP and BOTTOM Hinges

Location of top and bottom door hinges
Remove top and bottom door hinge pins.

Location of the hinge plate
Rework 292-0910 Hinge Plate such that the gap between hinges is increased to allow insertion of additional bushings. The additional bushings will help to reduce the loose fit of the door.

(A) Gap not to exceed 3.5 mm (0.14 inch)
Remove 1.5 mm (0.06 inch) of material from the flange bearing surface of 292-0910 Hinge Plate . Refer to Illustrations 3 and 4.

Area to grind out on hinge leaves
Grind material from 292-0909 Plate until the surface of the hinge barrel ends are flat

Paint all exposed metal of the hinges before reassembly.
Insert Bushing (1) at every opening.
Install top and bottom door hinge pins.
Check door for a tight fit at the hinges.
