parameters need to be configured for the machine to operate properly. The configuration screen for the ECM can be accessed by using the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET) service tool. The configuration screen for each ECM is accessed from the ECM summary screen by selecting "Configuration" from the service menu.
