1. Raise the axles until the strut rods in the suspension cylinders are fully extended.2. Measure the distance (F) between the front tires. Mark location point on the tire and rotate the tire 180 degrees. Measure the distance (B) between the same marks. The correct toe-out for the front wheels (with the wheels off the ground) is when distance (B) at the back of the tires is 50.8 mm (2.00 in) less than distance (F) at the front of tires.3. If the difference between the two measurements is incorrect, both link assemblies must be either made shorter for more toe-out or made longer for less toe-out, but the changed length of each link assembly must be the same. When the difference between measurements (F) and (B) is correct, there is front wheel toe-in when the truck is in normal operation with properly charged suspension cylinders.
