Assembly Procedure
Assemble the bearing housing (cartridge) and the turbocharger turbine housing. Ensure that there is a tight fit between the two housings. The housings must be properly aligned in order to prevent distortion to the v-band clamp.
Install the v-band clamp and tighten the clamp to the following torque:Torque ... 60 N m (44 lb ft)
Tap around the outside diameter of the cover with a soft hammer and tighten the v-band clamp again to the following torque:Torque ... 60 N m (44 lb ft)
