to replacement of the ECM, ensure that replacement is absolutely necessary. Rarely is the ECM the cause of a fault. Always check that power is available to the ECM. Battery voltage is required between pins 1 and 2 of the machine harness connector for the ECM. Continue ONLY if all other attempts to isolate the problem have failed.
Turn the key start switch to the OFF position. disconnect the machine harness from the ECM.
Remove the ECM.
Make sure the replacement ECM has the correct part number.
Connect the machine harness to the replacement ECM.
Install the replacement ECM.
Turn the key start switch to the ON position.
Proceed to the topic System Calibrations. Perform the calibration procedures. The calibration procedures that must be performed are listed below:
Propel Lever -maximum speed position
Propel Lever-minimum speed position (neutral)
Steer mode switch - Front
Steer mode switch - Coordinated
Steer mode switch - Crab
Steer mode switch - Rear
Rotor height - lift lock position
Rotor height - ground contact position
Rotor height - 175 cm cylinder position
Front wheels full right
Front wheels center/straight
Front wheels full left
Rear wheels full right
Rear wheels center/straight
Rear wheels full left
Forward Propel current minimum
Reverse propel current minimumNote: Performance will be appreciably affected if ANY of the calibration procedures are omitted. Make sure to perform all the CALIBRATION procedures.
