2. Remove clamp (1) from the inlet line on the water pump.3. Remove bolts (2) that hold the oil pan base to the cylinder block. Fasten a hoist and lift the engine. Weight is approximately 8000 lb. (3600 kg).4. Remove the oil pan base from under the engine.Install Oil Pan Base
1. Put the oil pan base in position under the engine.2. Lower the engine on to the oil pan base.3. Install the bolts that hold the oil pan base to the cylinder block.4. Install the clamp on the inlet line on the water pump.5. Fill the crankcase to the correct oil level. Fill the cooling system.
