Part number 341-2377 Control Module Gp .
Engineering change level of -01 or higher

Use Caterpillar Electronic Technician 2011A or newer version. Plug the ET Communications Adapter into the ET communications port at the front of the engine located at the ECM box. Refer to Illustration 3Note: For engines that do not have the 341-2377 Control Module Gp with change level 1. The cover will need to be removed from the thermostat housing to see the valve position.The time frame of the change was between March 2010 and April 2010.
