Illustration 1. Location of components.The 7E5984 Fuel Setting Screw Cover can be utilized with any 3114 and 3116 Engines equipped with the improved 7C1514 or 7C1516 Rack Control Assemblies. One of each of the following components will be needed: 7E5984 Cover - Fuel Setting Screw9X6005 Bolt8C8418 Lock Wire (Bulk)8S8158 Wire Seal (or equivalent)
The 7E5984 Fuel Setting Screw Cover can be easily modified and used on 1.1. Liter Engines equipped with early style rack control assemblies (worm gear type screw). To modify, remove the vertical portion of the fuel setting screw cover. See Illustration 2. The modified cover is installed on No. 2 cylinder rocker arm shaft support. The same new components will be needed as listed above.
