Leaving the machine unattended when the engine is running may result in personal injury or death. Before leaving the machine operator station, neutralize the travel controls, lower the work tools to the ground and deactivate all work tools, and place the lever for the hydraulic lockout control in the LOCKED position.
Note: There may be regulations that define the requirements for the operator and/or support personnel to be present when the engine is running.Park on a level surface. If the machine must be parked on a grade, chock the tracks securely.Note: The swing parking brake is automatically applied when the machine is stopped. The swing parking brake is released when the engine is running and the joystick is activated.
Turn the engine speed dial counterclockwise in order to reduce engine speed.

Release the travel levers/pedals in order to stop the machine.
Lower the work tool to the ground. Apply a slight downward pressure.
Move the hydraulic lockout control to the LOCKED position.
