(14) Main Control Valve When the operator moves the joystick to the STICK OUT position, the pump oil flows from main control valve (14) to the stick lowering control valves. The pump oil flows through check valve (4) to the rod end of stick cylinder (1).When the joystick is returned to the NEUTRAL position, the stick cylinder is held in the raised position. Check valve (4), relief valve (5), and check valve (9) prevent the oil in the head end of the stick cylinder from flowing out of the stick cylinder.STICK IN Operation

(14) Main Control Valve When the operator moves the joystick to the STICK IN position, pilot oil is sent through line (11) to port (Pi) of the stick lowering control valve. Pilot oil flows to valve (7). Valve (7) shifts to the left.Pump oil flows from main control valve (14) through line (3) to the head end of the stick cylinders.Oil from the rod end of the stick cylinder flows through valve (7) to the main control valve. The oil then flows to the hydraulic tank.When the joystick is returned to the NEUTRAL position, valve (7) shifts to the right. The stick cylinder is held in position.
