PROBLEM
The existing boom can crack on certain 374F Excavators. If the existing boom fails, it can be broken and cause machine down.

ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to M0093693, Special Instruction, "Welding Repair Procedure for the Mass Boom on Certain Excavators", repair procedure to reinforce the failed boom.
If the repair method is not clear because of severe damage, contact your local dealer Technical Communicator in order to obtain technical advice for the repair method.
Attach pictures and a report of boom inspection results that shows the position of the crack. refer to Image1.
IMPORTANT: Please do not place order of the 504-1727 Boom Assembly before communicating to Product Support for the repair.
